Political rights

We develop litigation strategies in human rights and international law, to ensure respect and guarantee of political rights in individual and collective spheres.

As a result, at CECOLI we promote the effectiveness of passive and active suffrage, and in general of all forms of participation within the framework of human rights to support the democratic goals established in the constitutions and international treaties. 

Access to Justice

One of the human rights least guaranteed by States are judicial guarantees and protection.

Our work team specializes, above all, in advising and representing cases related to violations of due process that, generally, have other human rights violations as consequences.

Economic, Social, Cultural and Environmental Rights – ESCER

National constitutional courts and international human rights bodies have undoubtedly progressively recognized the autonomous justiciability of ESCER.

The regional context means that poverty, social injustice, lack of basic services, effects on ancestral culture and traditions generate multiple violations of human rights, and especially rights such as education, health, and water.

For this reason, from our work, we promote the real guarantee of the ESCER through the exercise of strategic litigation, to generate structural changes in the protection of these rights.

Business and Human Rights

In recent years, the international community has been concerned with regulating the limits of companies, especially when understanding that they are actors that historically participate in serious human rights violations.
One of our central lines of action is the promotion and application of international standards that require precedents to facilitate their materialization.
On the other hand, we provide business advice and consultancies on human rights to achieve the establishment of internal policies with corporate social responsibility and seek a social license to operate.
